Join the UCSC Natural Reserves for our 2nd annual community-building bioblitz event and help inventory the biodiversity of the UCSC campus and Younger Lagoon Reserve.
The main campus and Younger Lagoon Reserve events will run concurrently from 9 am-12 pm, and are open to everyone: alumni; UCSC students, staff, and faculty; Santa Cruz community members, students of the California Naturalist Program; and more. You can choose which site you would like to attend.
In past bioblitzes, volunteers have made thousands of unique observations of species within a variety of natural habitats. Come join us and participate in expanding our knowledge of our beautiful and unique main and coastal UC Santa Cruz campuses.
Light refreshments will be served for each of the bioblitz sessions.
