What’s Growing on in the Garden

You can always come back in the summer! This Alumni Weekend, Kresge-63 instructor David Shaw (Porter, Community Studies ’04) will lead an interactive tour of Kresge Garden (which is used in his course available for any alumni to take during summer). The Kresge Garden is home to a community of people who share a common interest in gardening. It is a space where people empower themselves to learn how to grow their own food from seed, dig beds, create a functional compost system, and work together cooperatively. The garden hosts an apple orchard, a culinary herb garden, greens, and an assortment of other seasonal fruits and vegetables. Light refreshments will be provided while you roam the grounds and reconnect with your fellow alumni.
